Question 1

Question: I received the product.  Now what?

Answer: Sync the remote by holding down the house button on the remote for about 25 seconds.  Next, connect it to WiFi and then 3rd,  go to settings > applications > manage installed applications and launch "Appstarter".   A small sub-menu will pop showing all the apps (including Kodi) that we have side-loaded on to the stick.  Remember, the product contains a sticker with some quick start steps to get you immediately up and running.  Follow those quick step directions and you should be good to go.

Question: Is it plug and play?

Answer: Yes.  The product comes with a pre-registered amazon account to get you up and running.  In the event you are logged off at any point, the sticker in the back contains temporary log in credentials but we always recommend you use your own.  Once logged in follow the steps from "Question 1" to launch your apps.  

Question 3

Question: Can I use my own Amazon account with the device?

Answer: Absolutely!  Once you log yourself out, you can go to settings > applications > manage installed applications and launch the apps from there (they're not tied to the account).

Question 4

Question: How do I find new movies?  Do I have to update it?

Answer: Nope.  The content updates automatically.   On startup, simply let your device update its content by not touching it for the first 5 minutes.

Question: How do I watch local TV channels for my area?

Answer: We don’t control the channels that are made available but you do have close to 19,000 channels as of the creation of this page.  They vary and most require spcial apps.  Amazon does provide free ones which are available. Contact us for additional details.

Question 6

Question: My interface doesn’t look the same, is my stick broken?

Answer: Yes, you might have to update the stick.  Use the standard amazon steps to do so and you'll be fine.​

Question: I’ve had my stick for a few years and would like it updated.  How do I do that and how much is it?

Answer: It’s free! If you wish to get upgraded, email restores@imediadevices.com for instructions.  You’ll receive and automated response with details but can always reach out to us if you have questions.

Question 8

Question: I’m not happy and simply want to return it. Where do I send it?

Answer: We realize you just can’t make everyone happy.   If you’re within the warranty period of 30 days since your order, simply send an email to rour customer support desk for instructions on our return process.  We’d hate to lose you as a customer so always reach out for help before trying to return.  If you simply want to skip that step and just send it back, that’s ok too.  Simply follow our instructions in the email NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

Question 9

Question: My stick won’t power on?

Answer: Make sure the power is plugged into an outlet.  USBs on TVs usually don’t put out enough power to support the device.  Try it and I should work.

Question 10

Question: My remote doesn’t respond. What do I do?

Answer: You’re remote might have to be synced.  Simply hold down the "house" button on the remote for 25 seconds while pointed to the fire stick.  You might have to try more than once.  DON”T forget to ensure the batteries were inserted correctly.

Question: My remote isn’t working.

Answer: Hey it happens and hardware failures do occur.  Don’t worry, send an email to our customer support desk and you’ll receive instructions on how and what to send.  As soon as we confirm it’s not working, we’ll send another out for you no questions asked!  Your hardware is guaranteed for life with no need to buy an additional warranty!
